We have many interests and like to do as many things ourselves as possible because then we know exactly what was done and how.

Things as simple as changing the oil and greasing your automobile can be problem if left to others.

A case in point is that we had taken our vehicles to be serviced for many years to the local Wally World. You know the place, the well known Mart chain.

We did this because it seemed to save time and money. Wrong! Our trucks have grease fittings that can only be accessed by lowering a skid plate. This is simple to do, only two bolts need to be removed. I guess the local Mart guys never saw a DIY video or any other video on how to do this.

I found out the hard way that the Mart boys and girls never greased these fittings because a shimmy developed in the steering and the cause was worn links in the pitman arm and tie rod ends from no grease.

We will put up DIY videos later on how to service our trucks correctly. We have been busy learning how to film, edit, and get the DIY videos on our site. We hope to have a wide assortment of Do It Yourself videos up by the end of this year.
